What is Ajeer?
The Ajeer system has been in place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since 2014, providing a regulatory regime for temporary employment of foreign nationals (expatriates) working for non-sponsors in the Kingdom.
'Ajeer' (meaning 'rent' or 'loan' in Arabic) refers to an online platform regulating the ability of a foreign national employed by one entity to be seconded to work for another entity.
